Concept and art direction of this epic illustration for Trees That Count as a learning tool to promote the importance of Aotearoa’s native trees. The illustration was meticulously crafted by Ezra Whittaker and is made up of 20 illustrations that fit together to form one large scene.
The 20 reasons to love native trees were also developed as individual illustrations to enable each reason to be celebrated in isolation.
The artwork was created for a lightbox display at Wellington Airport to encourage donations for native tree planting. It also lives as an educational poster for sale through Trees That Count.
